90-second Interval Rest Ladder

Routine:
90 sec on, 1 min off, 90 sec on, 45 sec off, 90 sec on, 30 sec off, 90 sec on, 15 sec off, 90 sec on, 30 sec off, 90 sec on, 45 sec off, 90 sec on

Run at 85% of maximal effort through the “on” interval and walk during the “off” interval. Speed will, of course, decrease over time as fatigue sets in. The goal is to maintain a consistent level of exertion across the 90 seconds. Adjust pace accordingly.
