Morning Workout, 1-25-11

Unbalanced Before Breakfast

Reps:
Four rounds of 15 pushups and 30 lunges as quick (with good form) as possible

Exercises:
Staggered Hands Pushups, Alternating Standing Lunges

Rest:
None

Routine:
Staggered Hands Pushups
Begin in standard pushup position, then slide one hand up even with the head and slide the other down about five inches. (This will challenge the core in a new way.) Keep the abs tight, then bring the chest close to the floor and return to starting position. Repeat. More
Alternating Standing Lunge
Stand with feet shoulder width apart and step forward with one leg far enough ahead the knee bends to 90 degrees as the opposite knee gently touches the floor. Return to standing position. Switch legs and repeat. More

Varies; complete four rounds with solid form
