Morning Workout, 2-8-11

Narrow Bases

Six consecutive rounds of 10 diamond pushups and 10 pistol squats (one leg per round; three rounds on each)

As needed to complete prescribed reps with good form

Diamond Pushups
Begin in standard pushup position, then move hands toward the center of the chest. Form a diamond with the fingers. Lower chest toward hands and return to starting position. Repeat. More
Pistol Squats
Stand on one leg with opposite foot out in front and a few inches off the ground. Keep the core tight and squat down, making sure the free leg is kept straight and the core is tight. Return to standing position. Repeat. More
